For air-containing packaging, our sterilization retorts are designed with pressure servo control to monitor the changes of thermal expansion and contraction and generate the pressure data that allow the operator to record. The pressure produced within the retort will compensate the internal pressure inside the package, thus maintaining the seal integrity without package deformation.
